Fundraising: Full steam ahead

With private equity fund managers raising more than €120bn in the first half of 2021 alone, it seems appetite for the asset class has never been more abundant. That being said, a massive amount of that capital was raised by a small number of heavy-hitters, indicating the oft-remarked bifurcation in the market was not corrected by the pandemic’s disruption.
