Episode 56 - Janelle Hanchett

Today, Tammi and Sondra are ecstatic to share a conversation with Janelle Hanchett. Janelle is a Mom of four, a writer and the founder of the very popular website, Renegade Mothering. Janelle has a story in which becoming a Mom was not enough to save her from her addictions and it is raw, tender and harrowing. This story has a happy ending, though, and one being that she wrote a beautiful memoir, I’m Just Happy To Be Here: A Memoir of Renegade Mothering. They take some time to weave through her story, one that involves religion, depression and writing as redemption, all set in a West coast landscape. Janelle is warm, effusive and so funny, you will definitely want to devour her book after this conversation. They are just so happy she’s here.
