Have we done a show about multiversal superhero movies? It feels like it’s come up before… as though this were just a thing that we feel the need to talk about a lot. Oh well. Certainly we haven’t done this talking about Spider-man movies specifically? Or maybe we have! In any case, it’s time to do that again. Because right now, the box office is being ruled by yet another mutlverse superhero movie, Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse.On today’s episode, Hannah, Wayne and Mav give a detailed spoiler filled analysis and review of the new Spider-man movie’s themes and design as well as talking about how the film fits into the current cultural landscape.
