64. Guru Laghima and Zahir drink tea

The Way through Baguazhang - 八卦掌道 - A podcast by Peter Hainzl

☰/☴ Today as part of Tea Time equals Me Time, I will quote the poem from Guru Laghima... ☷/☲ "Let go of your Earthly Tether. ☴/☱ "Enter the Void. ☳/☷ "Empty. ☵/☰ "And become One." ☲/☶ Which was explained further by Zahir: When you base your expectations on only what you see, you blind yourself to the possibilities of a new reality. ☱/☵ Both Guru Laghima and Zahir were fictional cartoon characters. And yet they knew more about reality than most people in the modern world do. ☶/☳ So here we were, fighting to hold on to what we perceive to be real. And yet even Albert Einstein understood that reality is an illusion that we construct in our minds to make sense of happening. In a sense, drinking a cup of tea 茶 is a reality in itself. And through Tea Time equals Me Time, I have been honoured to share a bit of the journey through the I-Ching's 64 hexagrams 易經的六十四卦 up to the top of the Bagua Mountain 八卦山. Not the traditional orthodox sequence of 8 x 8 = 64, but the one that goes 8 x 8 x 8 = 512. And so, into the Tao 道 I go. Liked what you heard & want to connect with me?
