Scottish Folk Magick

Blessed Ostara Witches!!! In today episode I will be reviewing the book Yoga for Witches written by Sarah Robinson and also talking Scottish Folk Magick so delving into saining, elfshot, animism and juniper. As usual it gets pretty deep! Playing us out at the end of the show we have a beautiful piece of music called Paponeireau which is a new project led by Shawn Fisher. The name comes from his old cottage lake, Papineau, combined with "oneirology" - the study of dreams. Dreams are often an inspiration for Shawn's music, helping with the creation of otherworldly sounds. Mantis Moon is the first Paponeireau release. This song is completely made from live instrument recordings. The background synths are actually loops of a violin. The rain sounds are recordings Shawn took from his bedroom window. The wind chimes are attuned to chakras and the weighted clapper is made of green jade.
