She is a writer and a poet with over 100,000 followers on Instagram, where she often posts snippets of her work. Young female poets like Daley-Ward, Rupi Kaur and their peers are having "a moment" right now and she couldn't be happier about it. Born to a Jamaican mother and a Nigerian father, Daley-Ward was raised by her devout Seventh Day Adventist grandparents in the small town of Chorley in the North of England. She speaks to Róisín Ingle about her unusual childhood, rebelling, the lack of diversity in fashion and reads from her poetry collection Bone, which is published here later this month.
