In today's episode, businesswoman Alison Cowzer, chats to Róisín Ingle about being one of three female investors on RTÉ's Dragon's Den, running a successful business with her husband and the importance of using her platform to help causes that are close to her heart including the Repeal movement, the Ronald McDonald House and the Irish Girl Guides. In the second part of the show, you'll hear about Silence + Voice 2 - A Festival of Feminisms 2017. It's an event in Ennis, Co. Clare that's being organised by Clare Women's Network, one of 17 in the National Collective of Community Based Women’s Networks in Ireland. Elaine D’Alton, the brains behind the festival, and feminist philosopher Mary McDermott came into studio to explain what it's all about. Among those speaking over the weekend will be Clara Rose Thornton, activist Margaretta D’Arcy and CEO of Safe Ireland Sharon O’Halloran.
