On International Women’s Day, the Waking The Feminists movement held its second open meeting at Liberty Hall in Dublin, and this week’s episode features some of the highlights. The Women’s Podcast also paid a visit to Aras An Uachtarain to talk to President Michael D Higgins about the UN’s He for She campaign and to celebrate the positive and powerful role of men in promoting and supporting women’s rights and equality. Hozier was there to sing Cherry Wine, the single he released to highlight the issue of domestic abuse.
