Is this the best Michael Bay movie? No. But do I find every Bay film worth a visit? Yes. Bright, loud, silly. Doesn’t matter. This is cinema at it’s purest. Here we find Bay in a fascinating transitional period as a filmmaker. Congratulations, you are going to the island.
