Are you in high school or college and looking to start a YouTube channel? This episode is for YOU! This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Vanessa Nagoya, who started her channel at the age of 15. She is now 18 and has nearly 400k subscribers!   So what can you do as a Gen Z’er looking to get started on YouTube?   JUST GET STARTED. Start creating content! Even if that means you never post it! The only way you’re going to get good at YouTube is to just start DOING it.  BE AUTHENTIC. Be yourself. Don’t be anybody you’re not! Finding your voice is so important at your age. Show who YOU are and what makes you you! Your audience will connect with YOU and want to watch you: your quirks, insecurities, fears, and everything in between! SHARE your life experiences. Being in high school and college has SO many firsts and so many milestones, and you want to document that! People your age can relate to these milestones! You DON’T have to have a niche! Don’t be worried about boxing yourself into a niche. Having a niche is good for when you get older, but if you’re in high school, you don’t need it! Your niche is your life as you are growing up.    Just enjoy yourself, be authentically yourself, and if this stays a hobby, great! If it turns into something more, great!   Are you a high school or college student? Are you looking to be successful on YouTube?   ---------- Love the podcast? Got some feedback you want to share?
