Bandcamp was indie artist friendly becoming well known for their "Bandcamp Fridays" where they would let artists release music and not charge a fee. But the costs of hosting music sites with a massive catalog of artists where much of the music doesn't sell isn't a profitable venture, so what does this mean for the smaller independent artists?
