Episode 26: Norwegian Olympic Hopeful Sigrid Borge

Through the Point - A podcast by Scott Fuchs

Welcome to Through the Point Podcast, the world's #1 (and only) javelin specific podcast! This is the actual episode 26, I made the mistake of calling last episode number 26 haha This week I was fortunate enough to have on Sigrid Borge, a Norwegian thrower who has thrown 63.28, qualified for the World Championships, and hopes to make the Olympics next season. All at the age of 24! We had a really fun conversation where we talked about her returning from a torn UCL, how the athletics system in Norway works, what it’s like to be coached by Andreas Thorkildsen and train with Sara Kolak, and lessons she has learned in her short but impressive career Sigrid was so much fun and I wish her all the best in her recovery period. I know she will be ready to throw far in the Olympic year. Hopefully I can have her and Sara on together sometime! If you want to check her out on Instagram, her page is @sigbor and check out my page @throughthepoint_podcast! Thanks for listening and as always, enjoy!
