Episode 31: 2019 World Championship Silver-Medalist Magnus Kirt

Through the Point - A podcast by Scott Fuchs

Welcome to the Through the Point podcast, the world’s #1 (and only) javelin-specific podcast! This week I was fortunate enough to have on my FIRST 90 meter guest in the left-handed Estonian, Magnus Kirt Magnus has a personal best of 90.61m, was a silver-medalist at the 2019 World Championships, and competed in the 2016 Olympics It was really cool to learn about his background as an athlete in Estonia (a country I knew nothing about) as well as why he decided to not compete in 2020 He also does not think that left handed throwers have any disadvantages compared to righties, so get rid of all of those myths! Haha. He is a guest who doesn’t need much more of an introduction, so just check this one out! You can follow him on Instagram @magnuskirt and check out my page @throughthepoint_podcast Thanks for listening and enjoy! Music: Coast to Coast by Galassie ft.
