Golden - A Retro Review of Kylie's Country Jaunt

Golden is the fourteenth studio album by Australian singer Kylie Minogue. It was released on 6 April 2018 by BMG Rights Management and Minogue’s company, Darenote. This is Minogue’s first work with BMG and her first musical effort since her 2015 holiday album Kylie Christmas. Despite beginning with sessions in London and Los Angeles, Minogue then travelled to Nashville, Tennessee. There, she was inspired by the city’s culture as well as musical influences, specifically country music. She enlisted the help of a number of producers, including Ash Howes, Richard ”Biff” Stannard, Sky Adams, Alex Smith, and Mark Taylor, among others.
