Maryam Banikarim – Chief Marketing Officer – Nextdoor Maryam Banikarim is the Chief Marketing Officer for Nextdoor, a neighborhood app creating meaningful connections for neighbors. Prior to Nextdoor Maryam was the Chief Marketing Officer at Hyatt Hotels, Gannett, NBCUniversal, and Univision. She is known as a force for change recognized for her boundless curiosity, ability to build dynamic teams, and forge powerful partnerships. During the pandemic Maryam created a nonprofit called NYCNext, a volunteer movement aimed at supporting New York’s artist community and revitalizing the city. NYCNext created pop-ups all over the city, including a star-studded rendition of New York State of Mind.
