Tochnyi Weekly - 07 May 2023
Tochnyi - A podcast by TochnyiPodcasts - Wednesdays

This week, we are joined by our friend and film maker Adrian Pirvu @AdrianP_doc, hear first hand about the many challenges he's faced, as well as the achievements he's witnessed. We discuss making documentary films in Ukraine and the impact the war is having on filmmaking by Ukrainians as they are fighting for their survival. You can check out their 2020 award winning documentary "Everything Will Not Be Fine" here https://vimeo.com/ondemand/ewnbf2020. On the military front, we discuss Russian doctrine for urban warfare. On the economic view, we look at the relation between Russia and India and they ways that Russia is (unsuccessfully) trying to skirt the sanctions levied against them. https://twitter.com/tochnyi A weekly update. Tochnyi is a collective project which aims to accurately report, discuss and analyse news and information relating to the Russian Federation's illegal war against Ukraine. Tochnyi recognises that the voices of ordinary Ukrainians must be front and centre in any reporting. Tochnyi recognises that all dimensions of Ukrainian society are affected by the war, and so seeks to report on all aspects of its impact. Tochnyi seeks to deliver more than just the headline. Its aim is to unpack the issues behind the headlines, and engage with those stories that slip through the cracks.
