“I See And Feel My Growth” | Nav The Poet Navpreet Singh - A Sikh male wearing a turban living in a very white affluent neighbourhood. However, due to the lack of representation, his love of rock and unable to express his emotions, Nav was lost, in turmoil and arrogant to mask his vulnerability. Then during a lecture whilst studying engineering Nav felt compelled to write. This is the moment Nav The Poet was born. Being bogged down by so many people’s opinions, Nav shares the moments when he took control of his life and followed his calling into poetry. Starting with his first performance, which satisfied his decision to then change degrees from engineering to a creative field before breaking the news to his parents. Luckily, life was made slightly smoother with his parents support which led him to take himself seriously to be the representation he didn’t have growing up for others. Nav is determined to become successful. He is constantly performing live or posting on social media platforms as, he wants the genre to be as credible as music and film. With a massive following of over 64k on TikTok alone, I think he’s well on his way… You can also follow Nav The Poet via his socials; Tik Tok: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZS9fTQE3/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/navthepoet/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/NavThePoet Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NavThePoet Also if you like this video, let me know!
