Isaiah – The fifth Hebrew gospel – INTRO (a)

A siege as we will discover in the book of Isaiah is literal, yet metaphorically we can see our temple in Jerusalem is under constant siege from outside influences. When we are under siege we need to come to a place of appreciating the siege as an opportunity to hone our skills of self-mastery.
