The Hebraic Book of Revelation – Part 8B 5 And the heavenly angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it onto the earth: and there were voices and thundering and lightning and an earthquake. John’s vision is reminiscent of the rebellion by Korah. Korah, a non-priest Levite, this resembles the rebellion against the priestly status of Aaron and his line. Numbers 16 defined is: people refuse to heed Moses and submit to the ordained priesthood are in rebellion against YHWH – they’ve rejected YHWH.  These first set of angels are Ezekiel’S angels from his first scroll; six go to slay all those ‘believers’ who had been part of the rebellion regarding the altar and the priesthood and one throws the censor. 9:1 Then he cried in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause ye them that have charge over the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand. 6 And the seven heavenly angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. 7 The first heavenly angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and a third part of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. The plagues of the trumpets are in two groups; the first four involve natural catastrophes; that last three plagues fall directly upon men.  With each trumpet and each bowl a plague is poured out on the world.  Don’t worry about the prohibition against hurting the grass in 9:4 when here in 8:7 it’s already burned up.  Don’t worry how a great star could come from heaven in 8:10 when the stars had already fallen in 6:12 is to get caught in a trap of logic and reason and miss the apocalyptic visionary genre in which the book is written.  8 And the second heavenly angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And a third part of the creatures that were in the sea that had life, died; and a third part of the ships were destroyed. Jer 51:25 Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith יהוה , which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain. 10 And the third heavenly angel sounded, and there fell a great star from the heaven, burning as if it were a lamp, and it fell upon a third of the rivers, and upon the fountains of water. 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and a third part of the water became wormwood; and many men died from the water, because they were made bitter. Wormwood is a symbol of divine judgment, or Chernobyl!  Jer 9:15 Therefore because you have forsaken my commandments,  thus saith יהוה Tzevot, the Elohim of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink. Jer 23:15 Therefore thus saith יהוה Tzevoth,  concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land. This is certainly reminiscent of the bitter waters judgment of Mara: Exo. 15:22 but in reverse.  This judgment is due to יהוה casting four things upon humanity:   He deals bitterly with mankind He empties mankind; their possessions and their persons He testifies against mankind He afflicts mankind ‘testi-fy’…you have to dig deep down to your אשׁך eshek, Aleph-Shin-Chaf Sofit. or  kilyâh-כּליה – Kaf-Lamed-Yod-Heh, reigns, testicles, kidneys… it’s your deep parts bunched together – you’re gonna need strong-deep-inner parts to get through these next months… Rth 1:20 And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me. 21 I went out full, and יהוה hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing יהוה  hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me? So Mara is prophetically about the last gre
