Episode Number SEVEN of Transparently Trans covers one of the most important things in almost every transgender person’s life—Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). If you’ve never heard the term before, that’s okay. We don’t expect you to. HRT is not to be confused with TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) that a lot of middle-aged or older men are given to replacement lost Testosterone (although for transgender men, it is similar!) This episode really digs into WHAT Hormone Replacement Therapy is, WHO Hormone Replacement Therapy is for, WHY transgender individuals choose to begin the process, and HOW the process can be started! Episode 07 is the first of a 3-part mini-series about Hormone Replacement Therapy. The next two episodes will go more in depth about Female-to-Male Hormone Replacement Therapy and the specifics surrounding it! As always, thank you all SO much for the support!
