Chris is the President of Jackson Lucas. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Managing Director at The Bachrach Group, where he leads the national practice focused on real assets, serving private equity firms, investment banks, developers and REITs. Chris began his career in the real estate and legal fields while living in New York City. Chris manages TBG’s national real estate search practice as well as their West Coast offices. He has been recruiting since 2004 and started with TBG in 2005. Chris has been integral to the company’s growth and evolution from a regional boutique to a national firm. The most fulfilling part of his job is developing close relationships with his clients, candidates and co-workers, as well as helping to solve client’s problems. He enjoys having a key role in helping companies grow. He has always had a passion for real estate because the assets are tangible and there is nothing more rewarding that playing a part in a property or portfolio being developed, acquired, re-positioned, etc. Chris has a son who is nine years old (going on nineteen) that the entire team looks up to. He invests in real estate and property technology on a personal level and loves podcasting and listening to podcasts. Chris’ other passion is playing soccer - he has been playing since he was five and can definitely beat everyone on the TBG Real Estate team. Chris has been an advisor to top real estate executives throughout the US, is quoted in numerous industry trade publications and hosts a widely viewed industry newsletter and podcast. He has been an active member of such volunteer organizations as The Gubbio Project and The Society of St. Vincent de Paul. A graduate of Rutgers University – New Brunswick, Chris holds a BA in American Studies. He splits his time between the SF Bay Area and NYC.
