“And I feel like I just got home” Ray of Light is arguably the most important album of pop megastar Madonna’s career. Her ‘comeback’ album from 1998, it was a huge critical and commercial success. But, with a 67 minute runtime, is it a little too long? That’s the question TTMF hosts Stephen & Paul ask themselves as they attempt to curate a single vinyl, under 50 minute version of the album. Are they attempting to do this themselves? Of course not! The guys were delighted to be joined by Marissa and Caroline from top Scots pop duo - The Eves. Look out for Paul’s impromptu ‘unplugged’ versions of Madonna classics; a discussion on sexism in the music industry; thoughts on Madonna now; archive interview clips; the Eves sharing what it feels like to hear their songs on the radio and to support Belinda Carlisle; and all the usual regular features you know & love. Like this episode: Come back later this month for another episode featuring The Eves where they critique the original 1971 version of Don McLean’s American Pie and compare it to Madonna’s 2000 cover version.
