Tariff reductions in heading 9902 of the HTS are approved by Congress as part of what is known as a Miscellaneous Tariff Bill. However, these duty relief provisions expired on December 31, 2020, and hundreds of other provisions are waiting to be approved. What happened and what can be done to get these important tariff reductions back in place?
