Today’s guest Anupama Hoskere, is the founder of Dhaatu, an organisation that works to revive the traditional art form of puppetry, and winner of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Puppetry. A Masters in Computers with a fellowship in puppetry, she had a childhood growing up with dolls & influenced by art. Her passion for traditions, texts, and scriptures, and good fortune to be guided by veterans like MR Ranganath Rao who taught her to create puppets and changed her roadmap. Anupama is an awesome storyteller soaked in everything Indian!  This is part 2 of a 2 part series where she shares her journey as a puppeteer, the genesis of Dhaatu,  the challenges of the pandemic, how a dream of a national show became a 21 city tour in the USA & the award that she is so proud of.
