Jess Turtle is the co-founder of the Museum of Homelessness, a community led social justice museum, set up in 2015. Jess has worked in culture and heritage since 2001 and most recently worked for the Museums Association, running professional development programmes and the Festival of Change. She is a visiting tutor at King’s College London and holds an MA in Psychosocial Studies from Birkbeck. Anne Lanceley is a UCL researcher who examines cancer symptom management, recovery after cancer treatment, quality of life and innovative psychological therapies. Her research builds a practice, to open better care and support for women with cancer, challenging traditional methods of researching communication in health care. One topic she examines is the impact on the nurse, when they hear patients’ feelings and distress.
