Traci Falbo Interview

Ultrarunnerpodcast.com - A podcast by Eric Schranz

Traci Falbo has had a heck of a few years.  She started running ultras in 2011, ran the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning in 2013 and in 2014 ran the fastest trail 100 of all time and broke the World Record for the indoor 48 hours with 242 miles covered. Still, her name isn’t widely known to many MUT runners. I chat with Traci about how she got into this ridiculous sport, what she’s learned, how to deal with crew members, and most of all, why in the world she isn’t a sponsored athlete. Traci’s got a job, a family, and a full calendar of races for 2015 and I can’t wait to see how she does. Episode Notes: This month is sponsored by RootsRated.com   Comprehensive (and free!) trail maps for cities all around the country, along with some great stories from the trails. Definitely check them out. Video of Traci’s last few minutes in The Dome. Traci’s blog and her Twitter.
