03/11/18 The Root: Radical

Homily from the Fourth Sunday of Lent. God responds to our radical need with His radical love. Many people find it incredibly difficult to be honest...even with themselves. But unless we get past the surface to the root of what is truly in our hearts, not only will we not know ourselves, no one else will know us either. In our relationship with God, we need to be honest with what is in our heart, we need to entrust what we've found to Him, and we need to be vulnerable enough to receive His love.
