In the newest episode of Understanding Men, Luke and Fraser explore stress. They share times when stress has manifested in their lives, whether in professional sport or business, and reflect on the aspects of their lives which can provoke stress. They also discuss if humans may always need some level of stress in their lives in order to motivate or overcome challenges.


They break down the ways they effectively manage stress, including intentionally slowing down, talking with friends, spending time in nature and maintaining good quality sleep. They also highlight the inherent selfishness of stress, how chronic stress can manifest in the body through illness and the importance of silliness and play in order to gain better perspective.


Including advice gained through recovery, they address the significance of acceptance and presence in overcoming stress, which allows the mind and body to move forward to confront the next problem that may arise.
