Juanita Jean Nelson was a 17 year old from Boulder Creek, CA. She was the second of five kids and was the most outgoing of them all. On the morning of Dec. 13, 1998, plans were made for Juanita to ride the bus to school—something she rarely did, while her mother drove the other children to a different one.
