Poonam is Chief Executive of PG Paper, which she founded from her kitchen table in 2003 and which now exports to more than 50 countries. Gupta was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her services to business and charity in the 2017 New Year Honours. In 2017, Poonam formed Women's Business Mentoring which provides business mentoring schemes to women across Scotland.
