College Football Playoff talk without talking about it & the issue with 10-year coaching contracts

Andy, Ari and Scott Dochterman celebrate getting past the halfway point of the season without really thinking much about the College Football Playoff because the season has been so darn interesting. Perhaps things narrow a bit after games like Syracuse-Clemson and UCLA-Oregon this weekend, but it feels like we have a few more weeks of just enjoying a lot of teams still being in the hunt for conference titles at this point.
