Quitting a job via text??

It's bad enough to do it in a break up, but the former City Manager of Arroyo Grande broke up with A.G. in just a six word text recently, that read simply, " I resign. I will not be coming back." Not sure what happened, but we got talking about the best ways you have quit a job. Best one we heard today was Ed calling in saying he once quit a job at a car dealership but going on the PA speaker and going on a 2 min rant then quitting. Do you have a good story on how you or someone quit a job?
