Chris Floyd is a celebrity portrait photographer based in London who has photographed Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Brian Wilson, Oasis, Bryan Ferry, Debbie Harry, Elvis Costello, Iggy Pop, Lewis Hamilton, Dr Dre, The White Stripes, Oliver Reed, Yoko Ono and countless more household names in his career. Chris has also worked with clients including Apple, Avis, British Airways, Glenfiddich, Philips, Sony, The National Lottery and Virgin Radio.In 2022 he published his first book, ‘NOT JUST PICTURES’ that tells the stories behind some of his favourite pictures.Our conversation covers how a photograph of The Beatles by David Bailey captured Chris' interest in photography and goes full-circle to Chris' experiences photographing both Paul McCartney and David Bailey.
