Kai Hornung - Photographs that Sing

Kai Hornung is a landscape and fine art photographer from Hanover. Germany, who won the 2020 International Landscape Photograph of the Year just a few years after getting serious about photography. Kai has a great approach to his photography and as a relative newcomer he’s not constrained by established ways of thinking and allows himself to be very free, creatively. We talk about how trip to Ireland opened Kai’s eyes to landscape photography how and why he leaves images open for interpretation, looking for new pictures in well known locations, the parallels between music and photography and much much more.
