Trevor Cole: Travel POTY winning photographer on seeking the moment

Trevor Cole is a travel and documentary photographer from Northern Ireland. Trevor’s career as a geography teacher has taken him all around the world and his incredibly atmospheric photographs of South Sudanese herdsmen won him the Travel Photographer of the Year People and Culture prize in 2019. I liked Trevor’s photography before I spoke to him but hearing how he goes about his work and how much passion and respect he has for the people and places he shoots gives me an even greater appreciation for what he does.
