Today’ topic is retirement.  By retirement I don’t mean in the stereotypical sense, such as quitting your job and just existing, I mean becoming financially independent, and focusing on and living a life of your passions.  The key word here is finally independent right?  Real estate is one of many vehicles you can use to get to this point. Furthermore, If you really think about it, one of the main purposes of life is growth and contribution, and when growth and contribution slows down, you feel a sense of stagnation and are just “existing”.  Most physicians I speak with are in this continuum, where they either like what they do but want to cut back to pursue their passions, or just want to throw in the towel completely and switch gears.   Well today’s special  guest is going to speak about how to get over this hump, and truly live the life of your dreams .  Vikram Raya is the co-founder, CEO and managing partner of Viking Capital,  a multifamily acquisition company with close to a half a billion dollars of assets under management. , he is a high performance business coach of Limitless MD, and he is the founder of Vitology Institute a functional medicine practice.  Vikram is a cardiologist and a serial entrepreneur.  He is a great friend and truly one of the most dynamic people I know.  I’m going to ask him some tough questions today, because I really want to get to the core of how he is able to live a created life.  Before we start my book recommendation for this podcast is The Perfect Week Formula, by Craig Ballatyne.  This book is a must read, truly describes the perfect week and debunks the myths of typical morning routines.  A practical no-nonsense guide to crushing your morning, week, and life.
