VOCAL GIRLS IN ISOLATION WITH THE CLOCKWORKS

VOCAL GIRLS PODCAST - A podcast by Megan Graye - Wednesdays

Welcome back to the VOCAL GIRLS PODCAST! This week I speak to Irish post-punk band, The Clockworks. Made up of frontman James, guitarist Sean, bassist Tom and drummer Damian, they’re an unstoppable band with big plans. Their music is fierce, urgent and distinct with lyricism that remains true to their punk roots taking a critical look at society and the world. Originally from Galway in Ireland, they moved to London in 2019 to focus on the band - clearly it paid off as they were quickly signed to music legend, Alan Mcgee’s label, Creation23! Their third single ‘The Future Is Not What it was’ is out on the 12th June and has already gained attention from the likes of Annie Mac who 's played the song on her Radio 1 show as part of her new names feature.
