Never Go Backwards - Erick Alonzo

As we go through life and we are not in our best season. We may run to material possessions for inner validation. However, this is the complete opposite of what our friend Erick Alonzo did. Knowing he was not at his best, he decided to gift his camaro to his younger brother. Although being able to mask it well where hardly anyone knew what he was going through it was slowly changing him on the inside. Until, one day he realized that his younger self would be disappointed of the person he had become. On this episode we talked about our friend Erick's ups and downs. What helped him get back on track from living a life that what complete different to the one he was used to. We also talk about how playing the sport that he has loved all his life has caused permanent brain damage. Where if there is anything that our friend Erick would like for you to take away from his story is that, it does not matter if you feel stuck, depressed or anything else BELIEVE in yourself and do not let anyone tell you otherwise.
