In Episode 77, I share some of the panel discussion and question and answer session of the event hosted by St. Thomas University's (STU) Senate Committee on Reconciliation presents a panel discussion on the issues underlying the fishing situation in Nova Scotia. Members of the Sipekne'katik First Nation are exercising their treaty rights as well as their rights under a 1999 Supreme Court of Canada decision in Marshall decisions that provides for a moderate livelihood fishery.
