Tania Cameron on Organizing for Bearskin Lake First Nation

In this episode, we talk to Tania Cameron of the Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation, on her community organizing to help bring much needed emergency aide to Bearskin Lake First Nation. Over the holidays, the community's covid infection rate increased to 50% and neither the federal nor provincial governments responded to their calls for emergency assistance, So, with the permission of Bearskin Lake First Nation Chief Lefty Kamenawatamin, Tania went into action raising money to ensure food and other supplies were flown into the community.
