Enduro Mountain Biking With Greg Callaghan

Greg Callaghan is Red Bull sponsored and Ireland’s number-one mountain bike rider. He is on a mission to win the Enduro World Series. In the space of a few years, Greg Callaghan has gone from living out of his customised van while self-funding his appearances at downhill mountain bike events to becoming Ireland’s only pro rider. Callaghan made a big on the professional circuit, finishing third overall in the Enduro World Series in October 2017 after scoring some impressive results during his debut season – including his first pro race win outside of Ireland, in Madeira, Portugal. “To get a win outside of Ireland and solidify myself as someone who's good all over the world and not just a hometown hero was a big step for me,” he says. “I don't want to be that guy that just wins at home and does OK everywhere else – I want to be the guy that can win anywhere.” That podium-topping performance in Portugal catapulted Callaghan to the top of the rankings for a brief time at the midway point of the season.
