Ep 14: Ellie Knaus from the Atomic Moms Podcast

Back in the day (picture me hunched over a cane and with reading glasses perched on my nose while saying this), I used to do this thing called "car camping." When the babies were sleeping in the car, I would fire up a podcast, grab a Dunkin Donuts coffee and a half dozen Munchkins, and just cruise. And most often, the podcast in my ear was Atomic Moms, by Ellie Knaus. Ellie is an actor, a mom of two young girls, a wife, and the host of the top-rated parenting podcast, Atomic Moms. The description of the podcast says it all: "A modern parenting podcast and community of mamas who celebrate and commiserate about the joys and complexities of caring for our children and ourselves." Pretty much covers it all, right? Anyhow, I stalked--I mean, tracked down--Ellie and pretty much made her tell me all about her transition from actor to mom to podcast host, what she's learned about motherhood, and why she loves interviewing all these experts so much for her show.
