When Marisa Bardach Ramel was in high school, she and her family got life-changing news. Her mother had Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. At a time when life is hard enough on its own, Marisa has to learn to manage her own emotions about her mother's illness, all while trying to enjoy what could be her last few months with her mom.
