Scrapfest is a festival where artists are invited to make sculptures out of recycled materials that are sourced from the scrap yard in Lansing, MI. He talks about his experience participating in the festival last year solo and plans for returning as a team with Mike Beaver this year. He shares what the rules of the festival are with the material collection and parameters, what happens to the art after the festival, and what it is like on the collection day for getting your material.
