Eating disorders: what GPs need to know presented by Dr Hana Burgess and specialist psychologist Adam Cox Although rare eating disorders can have a devastating impact and this session will cover the GP role in the assessment of physical health and how to assess risk, when to consider referral and when to consider admission/using the Mental Health Act. The session will also cover some of the psychological treatments patients are offered from specialist services. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A.
