Content warning: cruelty towards animals, animal abuse, death threats, domestic violence, psychological, emotional, mental, and physical abuse, murder. As shared in last week’s episode and Part 1 of her story, Sarah Manos is a high school educator and victim advocate from Chicago. After escaping a highly abusive relationship and losing her canine companions Kirby and Daisy to her abuser, Sarah has chosen to share her experiences in and out of the legal and criminal justice system to bring awareness to society and hope to other survivors. She also takes to TikTok to bring ultimate awareness to the women of Illinois, building a community of nearly 70,000 people. The Broken Cycle Media team is immensely grateful for all that Sarah does to teach victims different avenues of advocacy and justice. This episode is dedicated to Kirby & Daisy. Please note this episode does mention animal abuse & cruelty towards animals.
