Ep 25 involves discussions over the 3 main events that have/are still happening this week including the Riverboat Brawl (also dubbed "Alabama Slamma Boat Kablama"); the fires and hurricanes in Hawaii; and the controversy surrounding Lizzo.  But first Susie talks about her week traveling on a family vacation whilst being sick, and Ed talks about dropping his mom off at the airport as she goes to visit friends in North Carolina.  The Riverboat Brawl brings about a cathartic feeling of justice as a group of entitled white people who physically assaulted the co-captain of a ferry, a black man who was just trying to do his job docking the boat in Montgomery, Alabama, as the group of mainly black people who were waiting on the ferry jump in to save the co-captain from being beaten to death... and a discussion of what kind of people would focus away from the man whose life was saved to focus on making the assailants the victims.
