Remember that part 2 of the IELTS speaking test is a long turn in which a candidate must speak at length on a given topic. Preparation time is given to organize ideas and students must show control of a wide range of features. Here, I'm giving feedback on the main four aspects: grammar, vocabulary, discourse, and pronunciation. The question was: Describe an interesting story that you heard or read about in the news. You should say: * when you heard or read about the story * what the story was about * why the story was in the news and explain why you thought the story was interesting. Charmchuree did very well, and I'm happy to say that she would get a solid band score that would be around the B2 level. Tune in so you can too get feedback on your speaking skills.
