September 1969 was a strange time for the Beatles.    Abbey Road was on it's way to store shelves, John Lennon was seemingly everywhere (Toronto, writing, recording and releasing "Cold Turkey"), while various Glyn Johns mixes of the "Get Back" album had leaked from the inner circle and were making their way to radio stations (and shortly bootlegs) across the United States.å
