The Disappearance of Barbara Blount

On Friday, May 2, 2008, Barbara was busy cleaning her home. She saw her daughter that morning and spoke to a neighbor at 11:30 a.m. Barbara's world revolved around her faith, her family, and her farm. She was a strong 58-year-old widow, who had lost her husband four years earlier in a tragic accident. But something happened on that Friday. That afternoon, her nephew showed up to check on her since no one could reach her. He found her door unlocked and her cordless home phone on the ground outside, the batteries lying a few feet away. Her car was gone, and so was Barbara. Her car would be found abandoned just 1/4 mile from her home, and a strange sighting would come in of Barbara, but Barbara has remained missing.
